The Change Management in an Environment of Selected Sports Organizations

Bachelor thesis deals with change management choice of club dance sport. The main intention is to propose applicable changes that can streamline the operation of the club and will affect the growth performance of dancers. The work is divided into three parts. The first presents the theoretical background, the next section is a sports organization and its trainers are analyzed by use to qualitative research focused on the training process and beliefs of the trainers. Based on the information we are given suggestions for changes which emerged from the qualitative research.

The bachelor‘s thesis deals with the question of adding head coach’s services into Morvaska Slavia Brno athletics club. The anylyses of a current situation in the club is mostly focused on the situation and condictions of a training of children and adults, on results of members of the clubs and also on the economic situation of the club. The results are basis for designing proper connection between head coach and the club and also for proposal of improving financial and organization situaton in the club.

Management Functions of the Coach in the Chosen Sport

The goal of this Bachelor´r thesis is to find out, if the coaches are using managerial functions in their coaching role. There are definitions of the terms related to coach´s management tools and their key qualities. The theoretical knowledges that I learnt are applied to divisional football club HFK Trebic. There are suggested recommendations for improving the quality of coach´s work in this thesis.

Web Application for Finding Sports Teammates

This thesis is resolving a proposal of web application used for searching sport playmates. The goal is to develop elementary proposal with easy use. The emphasis is also put on the effectivity and speed of the whole system. Thesis is focusing on user research and feedback from users. The resulting application allows to search quickly and effectively for a sport playmate, whole team or trainer.

Use of instructional materials by volleyball coaches of category U14

Title: Use of instructional materials by volleyball coaches of category U14 Objectives: The main objective of this study was to find out whether U14 volleyball coaches use instructional materials, what instructional materials they use, which instructional materials they prefer and where they get these materials from. What is their view of the instructional materials prepared by the Czech Volleyball Federation and what instructional materials they lack. Methods: We used a survey method where we collected data in the form of an online questionnaire. The questionnaire was sent via e-mail to 190 contact persons of the U14 category, which were listed on the website of the Czech Volleyball Federation. In the e-mail it was clearly stated that it was intended for U14 coaches only. The online questionnaire contained 24 questions and was completed by 105 coaches. Results: YouTube was the most preferred platform for obtaining information. 51 % of coaches prefer to learn through a combination of written text and video and 43 % prefer video only. Only 25 % of coaches can quickly and easily find the instructional materials they are looking for. Only 30 % of coaches are familiar with the education section of the CVF website. Title: The work with talented youth in the Czech floorball Objectives: The aim of this work is to reflect on management of talented youth in the association called Czech floorball, which is the representative and organizer of floorball in the Czech Republic and processing of course of the camp. Methods: In my thesis I used the observational method of direct observation for the most part. I also applied methods of theoretical knowledge, analysis and research of Czech and foreign literature. Results: Reflection on management of talented youth, that is based on participation at the camp for talented youth. Drop out in competitive girl's basketball

Title: Drop out in women's youth competitive basketball Objectives: The main goal of this master thesis is to use electronic questioning to find out the reasons for the atrition of former female players, within the last five years, in the categories U12-U19 (the so-called age category 12-19 years) from the basketball Youth Sports Centers (SCM and SpS) that have been assigned the status of the year 2022. Methods: The work used a combination of the quantitative method, in the form of an electronic questionnaire that was sent to former young female players, and the qualitative method, where in-depth interviews were conducted with four coaches and one female coach. For higher accuracy and better com- parison of results, the questionnaire was constructed based on previously conducted studies on the drop out of sports activities of children and youth, specifically according to the model "Questionnaire of reasons for attri- tion" by Gould et al. (1982). Results: A total of 1945 girls droped out from basketball centers during the period under review. 160 former players participated in the research. Title: Application of managerial activities: cases of basketball teams of different age categories Objectives: The aim of this thesis is to find out how the coaches of non-professional basketball deal with selected managerial activities and then compare how the application of these selected activities differs across age categories - from the youngest to adults. Methods: In this thesis was used comparison method, as well as the interview method and the questionnaire method. The method of comparation was used to compare the use of selected managerial activities across age categories and how individual coaches work with them. Data for comparation were obtained through personal or online semi-structured interviews with six basketball coaches of individual categories. The generalization of responses was achieved through an electronic questionnaire targeting all female non-professional basketball coaches of selected age categories and with its questions it fills in or founds out facts that followed on from the information obtained in the interviews.
